The Sleeper Hold is a completely new take on the travel pillow, and you have to feel it to believe it!
Invented by Brazilian jiu-jitsu power couple (and world travelers), Rener and Eve Gracie, the Sleeper Hold is a patented device that prevents head bobbing that plagues anyone who is trying to sleep in a seated position. Rather than putting pressure on the user's neck (like virtually all other travel pillows), the Sleeper Hold gently supports the user's forehead while also blocking out the light.
Every Sleeper Hold comes with a strap, an eye mask, and a pillow. Once the strap is attached to the seat back or head rest (using any number of configurations), the mask is connected to the strap using two small metal hooks. Then, the user inserts the pillow behind their head and neck before pulling down the mask for deep sleep in their seat. The mask has adjustable side straps so that it fits any head size.
Initially, the Sleeper Hold was only intended for airplane use, but then the inventors realized it also works on trains, buses, cars, and even office/gaming chairs!
To keep users safe in the event of an accident, every Sleeper Hold also comes with breakaway plastic hooks to replace the standard metal hooks every time the device is being used in automobiles.
The Sleeper Hold goes live on Kickstarter on May 3, 2023. If the launch is successful, the goal is to get it on Shark Tank before the end of the year and then make it available in every airport around the world by 2025.
